
Program Overview
BakerHostetler, an AmLaw 100 firm with over 1,000 lawyers across 18 offices, engaged Find A Rainmaker for the firm’s 2025 BakerSkills Business Development Program. The firm-wide program, in its eighth year, is run by six business development coaches, five of whom are attorneys and partners at the firm. The program operates across six core practice groups and provides in-person and virtual coaching sessions, including 11 one-on-one coaching sessions with rotating coaches. BakerSkills runs for an entire year, from January through December.
Utilizing FAR to Tailor Coaching
This year, Baker Hostetler continues to innovate. They chose to customize their business development coaching and training with behavioral data provided through the Find A Rainmaker platform. Data has helped drive directed coaching to further attorney business development efforts while exposing behavioral insights to support overarching firm revenue growth goals. A notable area of focus has been in practice group cross-selling and lead generation through a focus on behaviors that drive collaboration.
